Trust & verification methodology

Carenary is built for families making high-stakes care decisions. This page explains what our trust labels mean and how listing updates are reviewed.

Listing labels

  • Verified Listing: key listing fields were reviewed against public/official sources.
  • Claimed: a provider representative submitted proof and ownership was approved.
  • Last confirmed: the most recent date Carenary reviewed core listing fields.

How data is reviewed

  1. Initial provider records are collected from trusted public sources and ingestion pipelines.
  2. Records are normalized, deduplicated, and held for moderation review before publication.
  3. Claims and corrections are manually reviewed before public listing updates are applied.
  4. High-impact fields (name, category, location, phone, website) are prioritized for re-checking.

What paid placement does not change

Paid or featured placement never changes factual verification decisions. Verification status, correction outcomes, and trust labels are based on evidence and moderation review only.
